Let's be honest, there's no point in my reviewing this book. It's a classic and has left my mind abuzz at the end of a leisurely reread. I am delighted and a bit sad, but not in a bitter way. No, I'm nostalgic for a life, a world I never lived or lived in, but remember well. I am in fact humming a tune from the movie score by Howard Shore (A Long Expected Party, if you're wondering).
