I usually love multigenerational stories, but for some reason I found this book somewhat ponderous and hard to follow. It could be because I listened to the audiobook and the pronunciation of the names made it hard to keep the characters straight. I think if I had read the print book I would have enjoyed it more. I think it will be worth a revisit in the future.
