What Members Thought

This is an excellent book. While beeing a YA novel, it never gives you the feeling of patronizing or moralizing ( something YA literature does too often).
The characters are very fascinating, enjoyable and all a bit crazy. I was a tiny bit disappointed cause some lesser charcters were superficial, but that probably can’t be avoided.
The well written story is about a lot of little things and about some major themes, but kept me wanting to read on. Recommended for fans YA.

I loved this book but I can't give it five stars... I have to knock off a star because of all the 'Simon Snow' extracts in the novel (clearly a rip-off of Harry Potter, but much tackier). I became bored with reading them and eventually I just started skipping them altogether and I don't feel like I missed out on anything by doing so.
I liked the relationships in this novel. I liked Levi. I loved Cath, and I loved the writing. Rainbow Rowell is becoming one of my favourite authors :) ...more

I really wish I could give this book more than five stars. I fell in love with it immediately and brought back so many memories of my love for Harry Potter and the brief time I got into writing my own fanfiction. I felt like really connected to all the characters and Cath reminds me a lot of myself. It's probably the first book that I've ever finished and wanted to start reading again immediately.
