I have just finished this amazing, emotional book - still with tears in my eyes. Beautifully sad with a story which faces an unbearable truth. The illustration of Jim Kay reflects the mood and emotion completely and is so perfectly homogenised. The words are soft, strong and oh so poignant. An unforgettable experience.
Quelques minutes après minuit de Patrick Ness a été publié aux Editions Gallimard Jeunesse. Un roman de 215 pages, parsemé d’illustrations. C’est un livre fort et qui se lit très rapidement, poétique et qui approche avec finesse le thème de la perte d’un être cher, tout en l’abordant avec sincérité et en mettant en scène la violence de la douleur. Ich hätte wirklich nicht erwartet, dass ich diesem Buch 5 Sterne geben würde, aber nachdem ich es beendet habe und mit feuchten Augen in einem Wartezimmer saß (Tipp: Dieses Buch lieber nicht in der Öffentlichkeit bzw an Orten lesen, wo man nicht weinen will/darf/whatever) konnte ich einfach nicht anders, es war so gut!
