I struggled a little bit with this book in the beginning...but only because the formatting of my e-copy was a freaking mess. I will admit that Eleanor's life made me feel wildly uncomfortable. I felt so bad for her and at the same time I was more or less on the edge of my seat waiting for bad things to happen to her.

The relationship between Eleanor and Park is special. The narrative is even better. It's a different point of view than most YA novels in a sense. The language is different, more int

So this wasn't the kind of book I was expecting. I give it a solid 3.5 stars. I don't want to give anything away but it you're thinking it's all rainbows and puppy dogs, well it's just not. I felt the characters were well written and relatable. I would definitely read Rowell again. ...more

I LOVED this book! This story focuses in two teenagers that have a hard time to fit in. Eleanor is like many teenagers that hate themselves and the world around; that suffer at home and school, and resource to sarcasm to cope with their insecurity. She’s smart and has a lot of personality. Although, through the end she started to piss me off. With Park I felt the exact opposite. In the beginning, he was just a silly boy from a good family, with an awesome culture (really GOOD taste), but the cha ...more

WORST. ENDING. EVER.

Okay but no really, that ending? That ending was not fair. There was nothing okay about any of that. So I fell in love with Rainbow Rowell after reading Fangirl, which you should all read because it is a book about EVERYTHING. And then, Rainbow is on Tumblr, and she loves to post fanart, and there is a LOT of fanart of Eleanor, and I fell in love with Eleanor and decided to read this book. And this is another one of those stories that is just about EVERYTHING. About family an

i Need a Sequal That Ending Broke Me. I loved this book ok some parts are problamatic.for me and some issues could of been explored more. but at the end of the day its about two teens who fall in love who spend most of the book in a bubble like teens do when they first meet someone i loved Elanor and the refrences to music and comics but i am a geek at heart. great book deffiantly worth a reread and a sequal.
