WHAT WAS THAT VERONICA

When I first heard that Tobias/Four would be having a POV I was so excited. It never registered that that would be necessary in order to kill off Tris. WHY

Did anyone else think that when they all went out the fence, it seemed a lot like "Uglies". There was even a guy named David.

I feel numb, these books have ruined my life and I knew what was coming. I understand why people hate the ending but personally, I thought it just showed the character develop into a stronger person, into someone who's not afraid to make sacrifices for the people they loved. Personally I thought the books improved one after the other, it just shows how amazing Veronica Roth's imagination is but what truly got to me, in this book, was how similar it is to our society. How the 'genetically pure' a I feel numb, these books have ruined my life and I knew what was coming. I understand why people hate the ending but personally, I thought it just showed the character develop into a stronger person, into someone who's not afraid to make sacrifices for the people they loved. Personally I thought the books improved one after the other, it just shows how amazing Veronica Roth's imagination is but what truly got to me, in this book, was how similar it is to our society. How the 'genetically pure' are based as the middle class people and 'genetically damaged' are based as the working class people and how the society labels us. I don't know, I just thought of that. I didn't even focus on the ending that much as I was too emotional and the tears kept coming down. I threw the book to the wall as that's a great way to let my anger out, and I sobbed uncontrollably. This book trilogy actually changed my life ~ cheesy I know ~ but it taught me to be brave and that brave isn't just learning how to kick and punch, or how to threaten people and become intimidating but it's about sacrificing for your loved ones and just standing up for yourself and what you believe in, knowing that you're worthy of yourself and you can make a difference. So here's a warning for the readers who want to read this, don't get attached to anyone in this book trilogy ok because you will get your heart broken and you will just feel numb (how I feel right now) and you'll be sad and hurt and just *sigh* this book trilogy has ruined my life and now I'm going to listen to sad music and cry. I'm mourning over the loss of fictional characters, this is my life now, and I keep replaying the happy memories and it makes me sad. My mum's like, "It's just a book," well a book shouldn't affect me this much but it actually feels like Roth ripped my heart out and fed it to the sharks. I'm a mess right now ha, this is pretty sad. The characters in these 3 novels are amazing and just brilliant and so beautiful within, (well some) but even the bad ones, such as Peter who I felt pretty sorry for still had a heart hidden in there somewhere and it just shows his suffering, or like Cara and Christina who forgave Tris even for what she'd done. They really are exceptional.
Veronica Roth, damn you and your way of killing people off!

I've now completed the whole of the Divergent series. And I can't believe it's over, I just can't.

All the characters that won't ever be seen in action ever again.. the relationships each character had with another..
It is an effort that could not have been any better. Despite being devastating, Veronica did an amazing job, and I couldn't put it down at all! Action was always waiting for me on the next page, or the romance between Tris and Tobias. The feels were so bad in this book, but I couldn' ...more

"WHY?"

I don't know what to feel. This is so heartbreaking. I actually love the first book and the second one and― okay.

**SPOILER** Amazing finale, however with a tragic ending that I honestly expected. However, I thought it would be Tobias to go, although I might have taken the impact to that even harder than I had to Tris. Veronica Roth did perfectly with the two POV's and handled the intimate scene with Tobias and Tris amazingly. I personally think it was extremely tragic, but very realistic, making it an amazing finale that no other author I know has ever done. ...more

l CANT BELIEVE THIS IS HOW IT ENDS!!! i dont know how veronica roth could do this to me but its ok. The book was still amazing and im happy its not your typical happy ending so....I love the series and i feel this is the only way it could ended.
