What Members Thought
Ten years after a hunt gone wrong four friends pay the price for their sins and become the hunted instead of the hunters. This book was sufficiently creepy, scary and bloody to qualify as good horror but that was not what made it a 5 star read. What earned it 5 stars was simply great writing. Vivid characters and settings increased the suspense factor. The author also provides, via fiction, a distinct view of native american life.
Not being a big reader of horror books, all I'll say is that I was not prepared for where it went 😳

DNF. The violence toward animals was too much for me. I don't think it is poorly written, but I can't bring myself to continue on. This book is not for me.
