I really liked this first book in the Virgin River series.
It felt like watching a nice, old movie that takes place in an old, small mountain village/town, where everybody knows your name (kind of like my town :) )

I thought this was a sweet story. Melinda moved to try and take a break from all that had happened in her life in California. She really wasn't expecting what she got herself into but it may just be what she needed.

Omg! I'm not really a contemporary person but this was great. I started the series on Netflix first, but decided to read the books first. Robyn did catch how scary people with addiction can get when all they want is to score a high. I'm definitely will continue on with the series.

I have read one or two others from this series and liked them, this was pretty good but it seemed like transitions were odd at times. I liked our MCs and all, preacher is still my favorite guy <3

Really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to continuing with the Virgin River series.
