I finished the series. I take it all back. I appreciate the lack of romance because it emphasized so much more than that - and it earned the missing star.

Sooo this book was really hyped up and I feel like I had super high expectations going into it, and don’t get me wrong, it was a good book, very well written- I enjoyed reading it - but it wasn’t like “oh my god, one of the best books I have ever read”. This was one of those books were I was not sure whether I wanted to read it or not at first. When I got the free sample y said why not and once I started I couldn’t stop.

This is an amazing mystery novel with the perspective of a 17-year old that keeps characters true to themselves. By this I mean that you actually believe everyone is as old as the author sets them and they act accordingly.
