I really enjoyed this book club pick. It was well-written, emotional without being cloy, and grounded. Highly recommend!
Beautifully written. Beautiful story. I found myself thinking of a conversation I had with someone, only to realize it was actually something I had read in this book. The sign of a good author.
Absolutely adored this book. Read it quickly, in about a week or so, mostly because I couldn't put it down. I've never been on a hike, I'm not an outdoorsy person, but this book made me want to strap on a backpack and see just how far I could push the limits with my own two feet. Having read Strayed's "Tiny Beautiful Things" I knew a bit about her background--in this book you can't help but fall in love with her, warts and all. Just read it. Read it read it, you'll love it too.
