What Members Thought

This book actually made me very angry, especially at the family. I understand that looking after a family member turned beetle would, naturally, be hard, but the way the family treated Gregor was horrible. But overall the book was very good and had many moral lessons within it. I definitely recommend.

this was a reread for me. i chose to do my final paper for ENGL 215 on queer theory in The Metamorphosis so that is why i read it again. this novella is good when you look deeper into theories and Kafka’s own personal life but on its own i can see how it can be a little boring. so i gave it 3 stars because it’s a good read but not a favorite of mine
