Easy read, extremely educational and a bit entertaining, and one of the best books I have ever read.

Love Bryson, and while this book was always interesting, it was not quite what I had hoped for. I was hoping for a history of the beginning of the universe up through human civilization into today. It was really more of a history of the universe, and of our scientific discovery of how we came to learn about the sciences. Still fascinating if you like history.

Really enjoyed the book and having the author narrate. Kind of disappointed it was abridged--I missed that on the box. Would like the unabridged version if it exists. Going to listen to more Bill Bryson.
