Please post a comment below to nominate a book for the group to read for August 2018.

Please use the "add book/author" link just above the comment box to insert a link to the Goodreads book page for the book you are nominating, so other members can more easily assess it.

You may nominate a book which has been suggested previously and did not win. You may nominate more than one book, but we might not include all of your nominations in the voting.

Please do not nominate a book which is unlikely to be available to all members, such as one which was just published within the last three months or which is only available on Kindle.

Nominations will close on June 20 or when we have about 10 good nominations, whichever occurs first.

This book was published less than two months ago, so I think we should defer this nomination. Please nominate it again in a couple of months. Thanks!

Multicellularity: Origins and Evolution does not seem to be widely available. Amazon has one copy of the hardback and doesn't say there are more coming. And the kindle version costs US $51. And my library doesn't carry it.

Saudat Alishayeva (saudatalishayeva) Yes, the book is not available everywhere, but I could send a link on free electronic version if it’s acceptable.

No, thank you. That is possibly illegal and not condoned by this group or by Goodreads.
