I’m not quite sure what it was or how but I found I enjoyed this book considerably more than the first two. I found it more exciting and managed to get more involved with the characters and story and that ending! What an ending!

This book, I felt was more plot based and focused on the fast paced action of the characters quest. Things definitely moved faster here and a LOT was crammed into these pages, but I felt I enjoyed the more funny atm Reviews and more

This book, I felt was more plot based and focused on the fast paced action of the characters quest. Things definitely moved faster here and a LOT was crammed into these pages, but I felt I enjoyed the more funny atmosphere in this book as the first two books in my opinion were noticeably heavier and serious than the PJ series. Maybe I just got used to the writing style and learned to stop comparing this series to the first series 😛 *shrug*

Another thing I must say is I liked and connected with the characters more in this book perhaps because they were finally all together and it definitely was interesting seeing the dynamics and tensions between them all given their situation…. Normally I find books where a lot of the plot is journeying quite boring but Rick Riordan never failed to miss out a thrill in almost every situation along the way! I read that other reviewers were bored with the way the narrative flowed where the characters were constantly faced with obstacles and then overcame them. Lol myself I didn’t have a problem with this as for me this is what made the book so exciting 😀

I also felt every character (whether god, monster or mortal) in this book was extremely well researched and fleshed out. Rick Riordan manages to capture personalities in the most plausible, realistic way that makes the whole story flow nicely and everything easy to connect with. I will definitely be reading on (how could I not with an ending like that?) as there is definitely a lot more to come and this author has definitely increased the scale of things with that bold ending… But I can definitely see why some of my friends on GR have said this is their favourite of the series cause so far it is mine too! 🙂

Definitely carry on with this series cause so far it only gets better and there is way more to come.. So yeah, this is a series I’m beginning to really like and recommend! ...more
