Magical-realism is one of my favorite genres and this book was a must read and it was a classic which made it a good book to read in order for me to have a better understanding of this genre I love so much.

Let’s just say I was not expecting to love this book this much. At first, the story is absurd, quite simple and doesn’t seem to mean anything but it’s hidden meaning makes it a true gem.
