This one was weird. The desert, aliens, a church.
I didn't love this one, but I didn't hate it either!
Here are my notes:
This image, "...the insects and the weather had gotten to him by the time a ranger stumbled across his fleshless finger, pointing through the sun-baked mud at the blazing sky" (pg 16)
She was a big brunette, on the gray side of forty. (pg 67)

It’s no secret that I love Christopher Pike and pretty much everything he’s ever written. If I’m being honest, I remember this one being better than I thought it was this time around. The story is a little weird (not unusual for Pike) and very far fetched, but it’s still interesting. I had forgotten this book involved lizard people, similar to Season of Passage (which just so happens to be my favorite book of ALL time).
