I finished reading this book a few days ago but every time I think about it, it makes my heart feel so wholesome. I just love this book. And not only for it's characters and story and the world building, but also because it's set in 2020. This book shows the 2020 that everybody dreamed about. The 2020 that everybody had expected. The 2020 where Coronavirus never existed. The 2020 that I craved for while reading this book.

DNF!!!

I had REALLY HIGH EXPECTATIONS for this book bc everyone says they LOVED it. I’m sad to say this book FAILED MY EXPECTATIONS MISERABLY.

This Book was mainly just a DISAPPOINTMENT for me. I can’t really write a long review bc I only made it chapter 2.

I honestly don’t know what all the hype is a about this book. Ex) OMG I LOVED IT!!! or YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!or THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER!!! No it was awful it’s not one of the best books ever (my opinion) and no I’m not going to read ...more

I love this book! It was so cute even the second time around. The bi rep and the gay romance and the scandal.... it was all there for me. I highly recommend this book, it was adorable. I didnt finish it, but I was close... so, hey! Whatever!

Read this book though. I loved it. I love Casery McQuiston. I could re read this book everyday and love it as much as I do right now.

This was fun and light and cute and made me smile!

It felt a little like disney but with smut- I mean, I was still here for it. I ate it up.

I know a lot of the critique for this book stems from its approach to politics and its idealised lens of UK and USA systems- As I am from neither of those countries I would urge you to read some of the other reviews that dive deeper into the way the democratic party is painted, for example. This was my first ever audiobook and it was the best time. This book has made my laugh so hard with the many great characters relationships. The love story is adorable and passionate ( there was more sexual chapters then what I expected, but it is not a reason why you should avoid this book). It is also super nice to see a female president thrive. I also loved it the Hispanic representation in this book and the family dynamic which truly depicts siblings and divorce family’s relationships. Overa ...more
