Lovely story in a magical world. Unfortunately like the real one not a perfect world. But the book is hopeful and shows that the world (any world) will be better when we follow our hearts and are open and kind to one another.

This is one of my favorite books I’ve read in a while! It’ll be a book I’m recommending to my friends for a long time. I absolutely loved the story arc, the characters (especially the children!), the world building, and the message of love and acceptance that this book has. It took me a little bit to get into this book, but once the main character got to the island it was such a great read.
