I'm not usually one for magical realism but I have enjoyed Kafka before so thought I would give this short, surreal novella a go. It was a wry look at capitalism and the demands on the workforce with some hints of commentary on disability too. Really there was a lot beneath the surface that I probably need more distance to reflect on. Overall an interesting read.
