Sidibe's book is very good. This book is her memoir about her life before and after she became famous. I highly recommend it if you are looking for an interesting and funny book to read. I read the actual book, however, I wish I had read the audiobook version just to hear her say her asides and other remarks. Can't wait to see how the rest of her career will turn out. I hope she writes more books. ...more

An interesting and witty memoir from the star of the award-winning film 'Precious'. I enjoyed Sidibie's conversational style and thought the book got a lot more interesting in the second half where she talked a lot more about how she'd come to be an actress and how this impacted her life, her confidence and her perception of her own body.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review
