Wow. This book blew me away.
I was not interested when I first heard about this book (it is not a genre I normally read) but after a friend recommended it to me repeatedly I decided to give it a try.
Which turned out great. This book has a very well developed plot, I found the story so fascinating and intriguing. It is hard to find a book where you have absolutely no idea what is going to happen.

I loved this book. Okay, what I mean to really says is that I really loved the audiobook. The voice narration was spot on. I felt I knew Monty's character pretty well. Such a spoiled, self-involved fop, yet he is completely besotted with his friend, Percy, and bedeviled by his "contrary" sibling, Felicity. Mackenzi Lee weaves a funny, quirky, sarcastic, romantic tale with enough internal conflict on Monty's behalf, and conflict regarding Monty, Percy, and Felicity the society's norms to keep the ...more

I kind of knew I would love this book, but I was still absolutely blown away. There were constant twists and turns, and the writing was descriptive and beautiful without being overwhelming. The characters were relatable, funny and simply a joy to read. I absolutely adored this book and I can't wait to see what else Mackenzi Lee writes in the future! ...more
