The job of First Lady - which is essentially to dress well, attend public functions, support your husband, and perhaps take up a worthy cause or two - would be confining for anyone, much less a woman of Michelle Obama's abilities, drive, and accomplishments. I’ve watched videos of Michelle give a couple different speaking events & picked up her memoir because of that. I really enjoy her. She’s a vibrant human being.
I liked the back drop of her growing up in the 1960s & 70s in Chicago. Her family is full of lively humans & her hard work through school shows.
Watching Barack transform from law student to his path towards the presidency was wild. Reading about his reading habits coupled with his personality confirms why he was ready to be a leader.
