4.25 stars. At first I thought the story wasn’t going anywhere, but it kept my interest. The more I read, the more I liked the characters and the plot. A very, very good book.

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

I loved the themes of power and privilege; who gets to decide who gets to be a mom or keep a baby. What does it mean to be a mom? Celeste Ng broaches sensitive topics head on; especially abortion, infertility, and teenage pregnancy. I loved the in depth and interesting characters. Izzy was my favorite as she really seemed to grasp the dynamics between all the characters and the way they impacted each other. I can’t wait to see this come to life on the screen. ...more
