This is an awesome read. It has its ups and downs, but only in so far that you’ll smile, laugh and most likely cry. Ove is this seemingly grumpy old man, and he is shown to be cranky … to protect himself from emotion?! Actually, he has his heart in the right spot, and he is the kindest character, with a few edges. His story is told going back and forth from present to past, and that way most of Ove’s behaviour is explained quite nicely. It turns out that all in all, and also in a literal sense,
