4.5 stars. I find I either love or hate MacLean's books, but luckily this was one of the former. Sophie was a great character and I enjoyed the banter and antics during her road trip, which reminded me of Tessa Dare's A Week to be Wicked. King was an ass, but he was meant to be, and really it wasn't hard to see, even from the beginning, that he was much softer on the inside than he made out. Delightful secondary characters mean I will probably continue with the series.
