So I was finally able to finish the third part of the Shiva Trilogy. Nice end to a very good series. Though most of the time the book didn't move anywhere but there was enough drama for us to move forward. Maybe detailed review later.

The third part emphasises more on the Family of Shiva, their characterizations and their collective fight over the EVIL. Filled with some great action and riveting in parts, this book lives up to the predecessors till the very end. But it's only the finale, which should have been the icing on the cake, turned out to be the sole wrong note in the orchestra. But, amish fills the book with so much that it actually gets unnoticed. It was one of those books that I was eagerly waiting for, the last (?) of the Shiva trilogy. So expectations were sky high. Sure recipe for disappointment, so it was. There is so much war, so much gore, so much violence. And only so much that I can take. For example, the wounds on one of the principal characters are described 4 times, once when actually being inflicted and thereafter by each of the family members imagining, in all details. Hopefully it would be helpful to the movie-makers. But I
