This is quite possibly the most beautiful book I've ever read. Eyeopening, heartbreaking, mind-blowing. A tribute to the resilience of the human spirit and to the brave women and their will to survive; who worked in the shadows of World War II France to save the lives of so many. I've read hundreds of books and this story is in my top 2. I think a tie between The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
