What Members Thought
I loved this book and had a hard time putting it down, but there were some things that bothered me.
The guy who speaks only in haiku...whyyy??
I loved the typical Jodi twist, but wish it had happened earlier than two pages before the end.
the characters' names are annoying (sage, pepper, saffron...really?)
My favorite part of the book was Minka's retelling of her experience in the camps. I feel like there wasn't enough of that and too much of other. unnecessary fill in.
But overall loved the story, ...more
