I think Allegiant was a great book by Veronica Roth. I understand that some people dislike it because of the ending, but what other way would be good to end it? Veronica Roth has a great way of writing and it was overall a great book.

I have been crying non-stop since I finished the book, and I know I shouldn't be thinking about it now, but I can't help myself.

So I ended upon giving this book 4.5 stars. The book did not top Divergent, however it was a great but devastating ending to one of my favorite trilogies.

I always stumble upon flaws, and in this case it was mostly the fact that the book was quite slow with leak of action in places, while there were also some rushed story lines. I also missed some more happy moments.

Even though the book was a bit slow at times, I couldn't have been more excited to be in the world of Divergent again. I do believe that my love for these characters and this series added a lot to my final conclusion about this book. I simply can't dislike it. What I was really satisfied about was Tris' development throughout the book. It's no lie that she tends to upset me by a lot of the choices she makes, which was no exception in the first part of the book. However I saw a development that made me very satisfied. As I read the last lines, I felt a stab in my heart. It's like something precious was taken away from me. I just stare at the open book, unable to close it, and thought "It's over" as tears well up my eyes. I cried because something so beautiful has ended. And I'm thinking I won't be complete without it. Don't listen to the people who tell you that the ending to this book was terrible because it wasn't. It was a bitter sweet ending that will leave tears in your eyes but it was a very beautiful ending. I bought this book and I don't regret it. Those of you who know how this series ends know why I gave it 4 stars. BEFORE READING:
I'm scared to read this, to tell everyone the truth. My friend read this in one day and she said it was flat out TERRIBLE. Everyone (almost) said that this book was great, if not okay at least. I borrowed this copy from my school librarian and I have my fingers crossed because my expectations are way high after Divergent and Insurgent. Work for me Allegiant!! BE BETTER THAN WHAT PEOPLE SAY!!

oh my gosh! before i even read the whole book i had read a spoiler in facebook (view spoiler)..i didn't believe it..heck i couldn't believe it..

after i read mockingjay i was like..WTF?!that was it??peeta and katniss had gone nuts??well..i didn't really appreciate that ending..

i think it didn't goes like that with allegiant..yes (view spoiler) but do we really think that tris wont do something that noble and brave??others would oh my gosh! before i even read the whole book i had read a spoiler in facebook (view spoiler)..i didn't believe it..heck i couldn't believe it..

i feel like crying while reading the last few chapters but i cant because my mom was right behind me and if i cried while reading a book and working at our store..well i didn't want to know what she will think of me..

ok..so when i was reading it I was like "sh*t, sh*t, sh*t", "oh no?" and "WHAT THE F?!"..i feel like crazy..and then i bit my lip so hard to prevent from crying and when (view spoiler) i found that funny so i laughed...i didnt want to know how crazy that look like...

i didnt hate the ending..not like i thought i would when i read that spoiler.. i actually found it settling..it gives us some kind of closure..i dont usually like deaths..but im ok with this..

anyways..what tris did is kind of noble and brave...she loved tobias but she also loved Caleb,despite all, that she is willing to sacrifice what she had for the greater cause..their still family,right? its kind of selfish leaving the ones alive grieving for your death but its worth it..it changes everything.. ...more

I tried reading this book 2 times.On my first try i found it boring and confusing.The transition between the point of view of Tris and Tobias is not that clear.When you remove the chapter headers you would not find any difference between them.The voices of the character seems the same.I see Tobias doing things i found ludicrous but found out it is Tris's Point Of View

This is the kind of rare book that makes rereading senseless.. You cant enjoy rereading it as much as you enjoyed it the first time. nope. its full of deadly awesome surprises.. talking about the whole divergent series, its is never short of surprises :) and by the way this is the first book that ever made my eyes produce tears. cool. well done :)
