I was not the biggest fan of Anna and the French Kiss when I read it but decided to continue on with the trilogy because I owned them all. I am so glad that I did! I adored Lola and Cricket so much! Lola's costumes were really interesting to read about. I loved the confidence with which she wore them. Cricket though had to be my favourite, he was sweet and oh so lovely. I think I enjoyed Anna and the French Kiss a little more but this was still an absolutely fantastic read!

More collected thoughts: I read Anna and the French Kiss a while ago and while I did really love it, I had no idea how much I was going to love Lola and the Boy Next Door. People talked about Stephanie Perkins being an amazing author, but I didn't really fully understand that until reading Lola and the Boy Next Door.

Cuando comencé este libro no estaba segura si sería tan bueno como ANTFK. Pero debo decir que me encantó.

Lola es una chica divertida y excéntrica a la cual le gusta vestirse de raras y muy originales maneras. Tiene un novio sexy, padres que la aman y una genial mejor amiga. Pero las cosas se complican cuando sus antiguos vecinos se mudan de vuelta al vecindario, y Cricket Bell, el lindo chico de al lado, el cual rompió su corazón unos cuantos años atrás, vuelve para sacudir el mundo de Lola.

So cute! That is the first thing that pops into my mind when I think of this book. Have you recently read a book with a jaw dropping cliff hanger? Have you recently finished a series? Have you recently read Allegiant? Then pick this one up. Its fluffy, cute and makes you feel things for the love interest! Who knew contempory books could do that? 5/5 stars
