Um, No! Where's the rest of the book? I know that it just didn't end like this did it. I mean, what the heck? That's not a way to end the story. I didn't get enough Eleanor and Park. I need more Eleanor and Park. For one, because I enjoyed remembering how weird and awkward it was to like somebody and how weird and awesome and freaky your first time is for like everything. This book definitely touched a special place in my heart.

I saw this book on Goodreads a few months ago and I wanted to read it because it looked interesting and cute. So I was really excited when I found it at the library. There was a few things i liked a about it and a few things that I didn't get. I liked how it was cute and I loved the characters. What I didn't get was that the year is 1986 and the kids and grownups curse so much and those curses are used today. I also that that at some parts the book went a little to fast. This was my first book by Rainbow Rowelland it tells us the story of Eleanor(stout,ginger,curly hair,tough life at home) and Park(doesn't fit in with the crowd and prefers his solitude,knows taekwondo-will use it only for defence)who are both polar opposites to each other.It is set in the 80's.

I liked how the book didn't have a cliché hero and heroine. They were different and that is what made them special.

In my point of view the ending could have been better. More definite.

I loved it!! second Rainbow Rowell book that I read but still, Rainbow Rowell did it. I wanna kill Richie too but when the time he game the children gifts..he was kind of good guy like Gru.. if you know what I mean.
I'm looking forward for reading Fangirl since it is a hype and Landline is coming up this August. ...more

I think this novel was really cute, but the pacing was really bad. It felt like it was really slow in the beginning and then the ending was so abrupt. I still think it was a pretty good book though!
