#kindle This tautly plotted conspiracy thriller, by a 24 year-old first-time novelist, became the movie Three Days of the Condor. I had a hard time keeping each "the old man" separate from "the distinguished looking man" and "the distinctive looking man" but the general plot comes through even at skimming speed. Recommended.
