I've one thing to say- Sylvain Reynard didn't plan to write this book. He wrote Gabriel's Rapture in the hopes that The Professor and Julia's story would be complete. It's the readers that pushed for this book. They wanted more from this couple...a look into their future a few years down the road. To give us a sense of closure. SR gave us this in spades! Not only did we get the COMPLETE HEA for Gabriel and Julianne, but closure to each and every nuance to their story. Of Rachel and Aaron, he

Were parts of the book a bit long or anticlimactic for me? Yes. Were there parts I felt a bit too religious or spiritual for those who don't believe? Maybe. I can't complain there as I think it added a true sense of person, of beliefs and hopes that there's powers beyond our control...something to pray for and thank blessings for. Aside from that, the only other thing I found myself wishing for was more steamy love scenes. It always bothered me this series was tagged erotica because I don't see it at all....or that it was recommended for lovers of all things FSoG. I find this book totally different. Much more beautifully romantic and less smutty. That being said, a little more steam would've been the icing on my Gabriel cake! I mean, they had orchard sex, museum sex, kitchen counter sex, chocolate body painting sex....*wipes brow*..and desk sex!!!! More deets SR!

Sylvain Reynard is truly one of my favorite authors. This series being my favorite love story of all time. To take such torturous pasts and circumstances and give us their story come full circle, my opinion stays strong...Gabriel and Julianne are my favorite. The author truly knows his Dante and there were parts I found myself skimming when she was doing her speech, or some of the poetry. It's a bit over this blonde's head I guess. But the beauty of his writing remains. Rumor has it, he's venturing into more PNR writing. A shame but I wish all the success in the future to a writer that has touched me like few can.

Oh the Professor...just dreamy. That’s exactly what he is. It had a been a while since I had read the first two books in this series. I want to say at least a year, so going into this I was worried that I might be rusty as far as remembering EVERY detail that happened in the first two books. I’m happy to say that things surfaced quickly in my head and everything came back like a fantastic rainstorm, scattering the little bits that I thought, I might have forgotten. These books are so beautifully Oh the Professor...just dreamy. That’s exactly what he is. It had a been a while since I had read the first two books in this series. I want to say at least a year, so going into this I was worried that I might be rusty as far as remembering EVERY detail that happened in the first two books. I’m happy to say that things surfaced quickly in my head and everything came back like a fantastic rainstorm, scattering the little bits that I thought, I might have forgotten. These books are so beautifully written. I love a student teacher romance and I think this might be the best student teacher romance I have ever read. There’s something special about the way Gabriel views Juliana. Something incredibly erotic and heart warming about their love story.

The third book wasn’t full of surprises. It progressed the way I thought it would. It starts six months into the marriage. And once you’re married what usually arises? Well, you want to have babies. That’s just the natural progression in any relationship. This is not a spoiler as it’s mention almost immediately in the third book. Of course Julia wants to wait. She wants to make Gabriel happy but she also wants to finish up her schooling. So inadvertently Gabriel puts pressure on her. He doesn’t mean to but Julia loves him. She wants to make him happy. I think living under the esteemed professors shadow is difficult for Julia. She wants to make a name for herself. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to do that with a husband as amazing as the Professor. So we get a little bit of angst in this book. I’m not going to go too much into plot. I don’t like doing that. Who wants to read a book that you know what’s going to happen in? NOT ME. Just know you get a little bit of all the characters. We get some Paul and Christa (Crazy Christa...LOL) and of course Rachel and Aaron. All the characters are closed off nicely.

I thought that this was a good progression and end for the series. Gabriel and Julia are strengthened through this book. There’s not too much relationship drama, just the usual things that most would go through. I think Julia really showed major character growth in this book. She loves her husband so much and she really respects him. I think the Professor had a lot to work through in this as far as his past and at times he was needy but still amazing and delicious. He’s just one of a kind and his love for his wife is infinite which makes him very dreamy.

I LOVE this series and I love these characters. I thought it was a beautiful end to a series that stole my heart. I have to say that Gabriel is probably one of the MOST romantic men I have ever had the pleasure of reading. He makes you swoon and melt. I can't give enough praise for this third and final installment in this series. I could not put this book down! Gabriel and Julia's story was riveting from beginning to end! This book especially was brilliant in style, content, and the sheer amount of emotion it evoked in this reader. I loved how it moved back and forth in time and between the stories of the lives of the surrounding characters. Upon hearing the news that SR was going to write a 3rd and final installment in the Gabriel's Inferno series I, like every other SR fan, was beyond ecstatic and couldn't wait. Before embarking on this journey of Gabriel's Redemption, you really have to read Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture.....
What a perfect ending to a trilogy. Sylvain Reynard has a gift...to immerse you in a beautiful journey. It's heart-warming. I feel privileged to have taken this special journey with this amazing couple. I am smiling through grateful tears. Amazing!!

Professor Emerson and Julia have come a long way. Their relationship is not without any ups and down. However, they both have grown that work through it, talk about it, have desk sex and museum sex. It was nice to catch up with all the other family members and friends. What a wonderful end to a beautiful story about Dante and his Beatrice.
