4/5 for me.
Thank you also to Bryan and Sean for your comments. This book has sat on my shelf for years and I had a reluctance to pick it up for some reason. However my fairly new neighbours have a 12 year old autistic daughter"I can imagine that such a situation would really open your eyes to this book and vice versa. I love when a book can relate to the world for me.... and... vice versa! Thank you for sharing.

I finished
Their Eyes Were Watching God by
Zora Neale Hurston. I hadn't expected much from this book. But I was very surprised. Found itself near the top of my list of favs.

I thought The Incident of the Dog was entertaining, and an enjoyable read, b..."I loved it. It was very original to me at the time I read it. It resonated with me and will likely always have a spot in my top all time books. I also saw a live performance of the book while I was in London. It was also outstanding.

My wife read
The Things They Carried by
Tim O'Brien about a year ago and it's been on her shelf since then. I didn't even know it was a LIST book until I was browsing the list and noticed it. So, naturally, I started reading it.

I just finished loving
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I think books about madness are always entertaining to me. And there is no short supply on the LIST.

I've read There Bute For The (Ali Smith), A Visit From The Goon Squad (Jennife..."Ooo that's a lot of time traveling. But two good points. Lots of time to read and it's better than driving 2 hours every day.

Started the next group read.
Rites of Passage by
William Golding

Finished my re-read of
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It wasn't any less bizarre this go round.
The Talented Mr. Ripley by
Patricia Highsmith. I liked this book a lot. Would love to see how Mr. Ripley's adventure continues, but the list calls...

Today I finished LIST book #100 with
The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Started
The Talented Mr. Ripley by
Patricia Highsmith. Very enjoyable so far. I have not yet seen the movie either so that'll happen when I'm done.

Just finished my re-read of
A Tale of Two Cities. I got way more out of it this time than I did in high school.

I'm currently only seven chapters into the unabridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo.[bookcover:The Count of Monte Cristo|54..."Top of my list. Love that book. But yes it's a daunting task to undertake. I hope you love it in the end.
