Ok, well I've finished with it and I enjoyed it. I ended up giving it four stars and the last part of the novel was actually quite good. I suppose in a sense the direction the novel took in was somewhat predictable in some respects but I didn't mind that much. I also actually liked the side characters a fair bit and how they were built up as well.

I did find the character development to be absolutely solid and I liked at how the characters were able to change and at how things progressed and I thought that was really neat. Tbh, not a lot to say that I haven't really said earlier but I did like how it handled things like dementia and I ended finding the romance do be alright.

Well, I do think that it has been good like Sylvs has said that the characters are trying to open up with each other with their insecurities. I actually generally don’t like it when people are in relationships can keep secrets from each other, it just often ends up annoying me. I obviously totally understand in this case and I fully sympathise with the character.

There’s has been some good character development during this part and I liked that and I only have about a third of the book left so it’ll be interesting to see how things unfold. It’s actually not that long of a book but so far, it has actually been able to pack in a fair bit which is great. Anyway, I hope that I’ll enjoy the rest of this but for now, I’m roughly feeling around a four star.
