953180 I so far am really enjoying this book and I liked how the author incorporated different elements in the story such as (view spoiler). I thought that was really well done and it added a whole other fear layer to an already scary story. Although I hated Korey's character for all the cruel things he did, I had to admit he was written really well and Tiffany D Jackson wrote him in such a way that you were constantly on the edge of your seat knowing the potential way this story would go in and, as Eileen said, it made you feel very uncomfortable.

Ooh nice! I'll look those up! Hopefully you'll like Ziggy, Stardust and Me and Music from Another World I rated them pretty highly :)

Hi Eileen! You have a wide range of genres you read from what I can see! I'm more of a YA reader (because who doesn't love YA?) but I have been known to read some adult books like Red White and Royal Blue and House in the Cerulean Sea and some classics like To Kill a Mockingbird, The Alchemist and The Great Gatsby. Historical fiction is one of my least read genres on Goodreads but I definitely want to read some more especially if it's YA too. I've read The Magnolia Sword, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Music From Another World and Ziggy, Stardust and Me which are books I highly recommend from the Historical Fiction genre. If you haven't read them you should :)

I agree! The characters were not unlikeable but the characters were definitely less of a focus than the world and its world building

Same! I'm definitely a character reader so if I'm not liking the characters then I won't like the story BUT Warcross was an exception where I liked the world much much more than the characters themselves.

This book is definitely one of my faves! I don't know how Marie Lu does it but she writes such gorgeous imagery and scenery. I felt like I was there in the Warcross world and she wrote it in such a way that it felt realistic and yet entirely possible for it to have been a real virtual reality experience. I felt like the pacing was really good and I loved the whole subplot with Zero. Character wise, I liked the characters but they didn't feel completely well-rounded and seemed a bit aloof and distant at times. Overall though, I think I rated the book 5 stars the first time I read it and since then this book has definitely been reread by me a couple few times :)

Ahh thank you so much! Some of these are re-reads that I've enjoyed but I can't wait to delve into the rest of this list!

We just realised we didn't add that in (yikes!) we are editing them into individual pages now. Sorry for the delay! Formatting wise though we would prefer:

953180 So I just finished the book a couple of days ago and umm excuse me what was that ending?? I have so many thoughts about that last line. I was thinking about it a lot and I seriously cannot wait until November for the sequel! Can the book come out any sooner?
