Okay, very cool! I just started a reread of Anxious People because it's our book club book this month. It'll be my third time through, but I love that book!

Awesome! Let me know when you start Legendary! For now, I have two books I'm reading that I'm trying to finish (I'm always slower reading by myself than with an audio accompaniment because the audio helps me focus, lol) and A Thousand Steps. I can easily insert another book before starting back up with Legendary. :)

Yep, the ending is what made me glad I read it, but it was a close thing for a while there!

I'm not quite at the 50% point of Legendary. I'm probably going to take a break for a couple of days because I suddenly got two new ARCs that I want to get through, lol! Plus A Thousand Steps Into Night came in from my library and it's so good!

I feel like a good editor could have done wonders for the beginning.

Okay, I've been captured by this book and will probably be 50% finished by tonight, lol! I'm really liking this. There's a little bit of the movie Spirited Away in this. I'm really liking the Japanese mythology in this story and I really like Miuko! The world-building is fantastic and the exploration of misogyny and patriarchy is very well done and believable for the apparent time period. Really loving this so far!

I finally got the book! I started today. It was a bit slow-going while I got used to the world, but after around the 5% point, it starts to take off.

Okay, I'm going to start reading Legendary, but I'm planning on moving slowly through it, so you can catch up. I didn't like Tella that much in the first book, and this second book seems to be focused on her story, but based on the first 10%, I am already starting to understand Tella better. So that's a good sign I think.
