Boooo for the Saturday shift but YAY for joining on Friday!

Awww yiss! The Luminous Dead sounds SO GOOD. Are you liking it?

I goofed in the message and said Saturday, March 29th, but I think y'all get what I meant. 😂I want to finish all of my current reads and read 2 new ones, too:
-
- You Must Not Miss (in progress)
- The Beast's Heart (in progress)
- Sorcery of Thorns (in progress)
- Wicked Saints (in progress)

405pg: The Takeover Effect (365), Wicked Saints (40)

I wasn't planning on scheduling another readathon so soon, but I was thinking about how much I need to catch up on current reads before the OWLs start on Monday, and I figured it was perfect timing since I know some of you need to finish up some reads, too! This readathon starts at 12:00AM (your time zone) on
Saturday, March 30th
and ends at 11:59PM on
Sunday, March 31st
.Since this is our first 2-day readathon, there's only one prompt: finish a current read! Doesn't matter if you're 5% or 95% in, just try to finish something on your currently-reading shelf. 😊
As always, participation and following the prompt(s) is totally optional.
One last thing: because I'm impatient and want to get some serious reading done on Friday, too, you can start this readathon on the 29th if you want to! I didn't want to make it part of the official readathon dates since it's already the 29th for a lot of you as I'm making this post (it's 11:53PM on the 28th here), but if you want to log your pages read, hours read, etc. for Friday, please feel free to do so! I know I will be!
Have fun! ♥♥♥
Holy crap, so many of you guys read SO MUCH! I feel like a little bit of a failure 😂😂😂 just kidding! I'm trying not to beat myself up for how little reading I've done this week. Hopefully I'll make up for it this weekend!
Today I read all of Alpha & Omega (61pg) but have been super busy otherwise. That said, I just got settled in for the evening, dinner is in the crock pot, the house is (fairly) clean, I have an energy drink, and I don't have to be at work until noon tomorrow, so I'm probably going to stay up late and read!
So far today, I've only read about 15% of Aurora Rising, but I napped earlier which means I should be up for a bit longer, so I'm hoping to get some more reading done before going to sleep. 😂
Woooow, so I am totally failing at this readathon, what the heck! 😭😂 It seems like I'm doomed to have unexpected things come up during readathons. Story of my life. Yesterday, I worked my shift, and then we (fairly unexpectedly) drove for about 8 hours round-trip to go adopt a Corgi! I'll post a photo of her later, she is the most precious thing. It was so much driving and I couldn't listen to an audiobook because 1) my spouse and I just talked the whole way there and 2) we had to listen to 2000s pop music on the way home to keep me awake while I drove. 😂😂😂So, yeah, I think I read 5% of Small Town Hearts yesterday and that was it, but SO WORTH IT. I'm about to go to work for a few hours and then I hope to come home and read all day while cuddling my kiddo and the new doggo!

Ooooh, I'm starting Small Town Hearts tomorrow! did you like it?
I just finished Girls with Sharp Sticks! I read the whole thing today, so that's 400pg. :D I *should* go to bed, but I think I'm going to type up a review and then try to read a little bit of The Witch's Kind before sleeping.
Stephanie wrote: "This readathon seems like it'll just be about getting as much reading done as I can more than the tbr."This is totally me, too! I'm not sure I'll get the challenges done but I just want to read as much as possible! Today has been really drowsy and weird mentally for me so I haven't gotten too much reading done, but I did already read about 150 pages of Girls with Sharp Sticks and I'm hoping to finish it tonight!

I adore A Head Full of Ghosts and NOS4A2 (well, anything by Joe Hill) SO MUCH. Is this your first time reading either of them?

I just read If My Body Could Speak which totally wasn't in my TBR at all, but I was in the mood for some poetry and it was a super quick read. 🤷♀️ 5 stars!
It's just started in my time zone, so I guess it's time to make my TBR! 😂 I meant to do this earlier today - oops.1. Read something that's been on your TBR since 2018 or earlier:
2. Read a sequel:
3. Read something that someone has recommended to you or that a friend has rated highly:
For the rest of my TBR, I want to finish these current reads:
And I want to start (but might not finish) these:
I... might be getting a bit over-zealous 😂😂😂
