I can't wait to hear your thoughts on The Bone Season! It took me a little bit (like 50-75pg) to get into and then I LOVED it and flew through it.

Hello, everyone! It's time for another readathon!

This readathon will begin at 12:00AM (your time zone) Thursday, April 18th, and will end at 11:59PM (again, your time zone!) Monday, April 22nd. That's right, this one's five days long!

Hi, welcome! ARC is Advanced Reader Copy (for bloggers, booksellers, librarians, etc.), and OWLs are this round of the Magical Readathon hosted by Book Roast on youtube!

My son's been sick today (nothing big, just tummy issues, but it's been distracting of course) and I've been super tired, so I've just been slooowwwwwly meandering through Wicked Saints today. 😂

I read 2 more graphic novels yesterday, but we ended up being super busy and that was about it. 😂 But I have to finish Wicked Saints today (blog tour post has to go up tomorrow!) and I kind of want to binge read a kindle unlimited romance book. 😂 I'm struggling with WS right now because I'm not in the mood for fantasy so I'm tempted to set myself up a reward system, like every 50pg of WS earns me 50pg of a rom-com... lmao

Instead of working on my actual readathon TBR, I just binge read a bunch of graphic novels and manga in one sitting. 😂 1,408 pages worth, to be exact:

I forgot to mention this, but before work today, I tried started PERfunctory AfFECTION, and the writing was so immensely Not For Me™ that I DNFed it almost immediately. I'm not even counting the pages because I was mostly skim reading. 😂 I feel bad whenever I DNF an ARC, but it was so off-putting from the very first paragraph and I knew there was just no point in forcing myself through it.

Whew, home from work and time to start my weekend for real! It's only 5:30pm here so I'm hoping to get a LOT of reading done this evening. I think I'm about to start Wicked Saints :D

I'm so glad so many of you are excited for the readathon and not mad at me that the timing was so sudden! 😂😂

It's about 3am and I just finished The Takeover Effect! I gave it 4/5 stars. I was 5% into it before midnight, so I read 365 pages! I'm about to write up a review/blog post for tomorrow and then I'm going to bed but I'm hoping to wake up in time to start Wicked Saints before work. 😊
