Still reading but very slowly. I work for the emergency services and have been picking up extra shifts to fill in for the people who are having to self isolate so not a lot of free time to read.

Finished The Princess Bride

I've just come back from my holiday full of flu :(

I finished the Beach whilst I was away but finished it on the 28th so can't count it towards March. Now started the Princess Bride and racing through it. I love this book!

I'm just catching up with the mini challenge. So does the book need to contain one of those words? I was going to read The Beach next and that contains "plate" and "glasses of black coffee"

I'm still here! Sorry for the late response, I have worked every day since the 2nd (and at work again in 2 hours!) so not had much time to go on here. I'm still reading and nearly finished my book.

I thought the Silent Patient was ok. Totally didn't see the twist coming so that was a shocker but I didn't think it was as good as books like The girl on the train or Sister. What did you think Cat?

I'm desperately trying to finish the book I'm reading to get ready to start the challenge but I am really struggling with it! Has anyone read the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy series? It's really not my kind of book at all but once I start a book I have to finish it.
