I'm gonna reach out to Caipi and Clara! I know you told Caipi in our exchange thread, so she should pop around soon.

I think Janine is filling in right now, but we can put yours in for the WD4. (Those cards just duplicate any color card)

...I like that answer better lol

Welcome Amber! If you have any questions please let us know! Uno can be a little overwhelming at first, but once you start going it makes sense.
I keep trying to learn how to either knit or crochet and get really good at making a line/square before giving up lol
Just an FYI, you don't have to put the books on your UNO shelf until they're completed (I realize I wrote that in a confusing way). You totally can though if it helps you, and we'll just pay attention to finish dates when checking :)

Im Janine from England and think this is my 4th time playing , but i still get all the cards confused 😁😁
Im really looking forward to playing, but my UNO books have to fit in with a..."
We also have battleship starting soon just to add another challenge lol

I manifested my ARC into existence with this post

I've played UNO 4 times I think. My favorite part is that you really do have a lot of wiggle room to read whatever you feel like reading, but the mini challenges also add some curveballs so that it never feels like it's just a reading log.
My most anticipated release is

I'm not much of a planner, but I'll probably pick up something for one of our color cards first!
Can't wait to meet you all 😊

It's time for UNO!!
I've added a bunch of links above for your reference. Please take the time to add each other! It helps when checking for reverse cards. There's a planning spreadsheet for us to put books on either that we're planning to read in a round, or you can put it on after you've completed. The only cards we want to make sure we plan out beforehand are the color cards so those will be at the top of each spreadsheet to make it easier to see that we've completed them!
If you're using the planning spreadsheet, please fill out each line with as much info as possible. The rows for main SS, Card, and Hand will only be used by Jackie and me, but you will fill out the book, the date read, and anywhere the book could possibly fit. Besides color cards, don't worry about planning for a specific card! Give us all the options by selecting a "how" it fits and filling out the reason and Jackie and I will move them around to make sure everyone's books count! For "reverse" the reason just has to be the name of the team member who read it.
If you don't like using spreadsheets, you can just make a post in the group. Please include the link to the edition you read, the date finished, all the options it works for, and how it fits for each option. If easier, you can use this format:
Book:
Date Read:
Color?:
What/How it fits:
YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO ONE WAY. You do not have to do both a post and the spreadsheet, I just know not everyone enjoys spreadsheets. Everyone does needs to make sure that all books are on their designated UNO shelf and has a date read marked
I think that's a good starting point! Other than that we can answer any questions as we go. Please take the time to introduce yourself! Here's some questions you can answer (but feel free to say whatever you'd like)
-General about you (if you're uncomfortable sharing too much information, don't worry!)
-Have you played UNO before? If so, what's your favorite part?
-What's your most anticipated release of 2024? Your favorite book from 2023?
-What book do you plan on being your first for the first round of UNO?
-We do have 16!! Color cards (including WD4) for round 1, so if you have any color books planned for February, the sooner you can let us know the better :)
