Our assigned book is:..."if you want to read it this month go for it :) it doesn't really matter if more of us read it

Also I got the How'ls Moving Castle book and it will be my next read as I'm intrigued and I don't actually feel like reading Red, White and Royal blue. I might put that to the side for the next month's mini challenges as it has a pink cover, and who knows what we will need.

I didn't know that they couldn't properly balance chatty/non-chatty teams this year. So if you didn't sign up for a chatty team don't feel pressured by my post please! :)

And also: you signed up for a chatty team. Please check in with us at least once a week. If there is something going on and you know you will be away for a while, just shoot us a quick message so we know.

Just a general tip: if you start a new book and log it into goodreads, put it in your Uno shelf immidiately and not only after reading it :) that way you won't forget. Because I forget myself regularly, and this is the only way I remember doing it

JL please add your finished book Riot Hearts to your uno shelf :)

I'll check if I can find anything that fits. But so far I had no luck with coloured books that I want to read
Val wrote: "since I haven't read our mini challenge book, and I see that others are already reading it - this is my current book that I am halfway through. Any thoughts about how it could apply to the minichal..."Lexi wrote a few things about the MC, maybe something applies to your book. Other than that the fiction tag or maybe 4 star review f.e
We only need one reason anyway, so there's no need to look for that many

Oh lovely, a mini challenge where we can be as creative as we want!
Here is an example for how a book could connect with our assigned book. It's just a few things that come to my mind that might work:
I am currently reading
- it is tagged romance
- written by a female author
- both have a rating of 4 stars
- the main character has a sister

I'm actually struggling to find my next read. I hope scribd has something for me..

And that's why i always insist on Christina and I being on the same team so she reminds me haha

Just a little information, especially for the newcomers: the first mini challenge will start on February 14th! For the mini challenge they usually choose themes that match the overall theme of the UNO challenge and they give us tasks to read for.
I think the mini challenges are always great, so it doesn't get boring. Once the mods officially posted the informations, we'll post them in here as well and discuss :D
But if someone is reading a couple of books at a time, maybe you can hold off finishing some until after the mini challenge starts ;)
Gem ~Zero Shelf Control~ wrote: "I was going to use Daisy jones as my blue 8 but can see its needed for reverse, so ill try get Just my luck completed asap and use that instead"We only need one more reverse, so if you want to save one blue book for next month you could do that as well :)

I still have like 100 pages to go. I'm hoping to start and finish my second book before the mini-challenge begins. But I'll see haha I have 4 exams at the beginning of March, so I probably won't get to read more than 3-4 books

Never heard of this before, but sounds interesting. Not sure if I could watch it though xD but if you're too scared to watch it alone, we could stream it together haha

How is everyone doing? :)

But the quickest is just to do strg + k
Charly wrote: "I added the 4 books that I will be reading to the Spreadsheet. I can not figure out how to make the books a URL. I will update the sheet more as I'm reading."You need to copy the URL of the book page, then go to the spreadsheet. I don't have the spreadsheet in english so bear with me. On the top left you have "insert or put in" (the fourth thing to click basically). You click on that and then you should have "add link" (strg + K) There you can add your link and give it a name

It's a slow start for me. I still have one assignment to finish and zero motivation to do anything right now haha need to catch up on some sleep

I've been so busy that I still didn't choose my first book haha I hope I can decide today so I can start reading today
