ba tasks are related to relationships (ie male with black hair, same sex relationship)
bb is tasks related to professionals (ie a book with a millionaire, someone wearing a suit on the cover.)

B1a - It seems as if someone collapsed because they overdid it with the sports. (Maybe you should get back to your book…)
B1b - It seems as if someone collapsed after ingesting a dose of poison. (This is turning out to be better than the book! *dramatic music*)

a is different page lengths (up to 450+ pages) for the challenges, b is a spell it out.

Okay yall, I think the best thing to do is choose our streams and then get the books from there. SO, B is our stream (Thanks Diane). Heres the next prompt;

You are too engrossed in your book while walking through the park to notice anything amiss until you hear shouts.
B1 - Blend into the crowd, observe the police and paramedics. (The book will have to wait for a bit!)
B2: Ignore the scene and continue on your way. (The book is just too good to stop now!)

B1 cards are more fun, B2 cards are easier. :)

Hey everyone! Happy weekend, does everybody have plans? I have a jazz festival tonight that Im playing in. Today is an audiobook and puzzle day; tomorrow I’ll probably figure out a physical book to read lol.

I found a book that covers the Yellow 9, and I have a blue for one of the Wild Draw 4s. Look at me actually being helpful in the reading aspect lol

Here are the colored cards we still have left for April. Finding yellow cards is so tricky;

Green3
Blue 5

We also have 3 wild draw 4 cards left :)

Stacey, put the elite back on the sheet! I was going to use it for a reverse card because I've read that one. :)

Ok... so the UNO FAQ does clearly state that the books need to be a logical colour, and if unsure you can use tineye or ask in the captains group.
I will let two of them go as a mistake, but that one for Blue 4, I really can't see how anyone would ever look at that colour and think "blue". And it is up to the captains to be the double checkers on what your team mates are posting.


So I've removed 30 points for that card and the 15 as that hand hasn't been completed ; but I will accept it as an honest error and haven't completely followed the rules and removed all the points for subsequent hands.

What are the rules when it comes to book cover colours?
If you have a book you think is a certain colour, post to your team thread. If your team agrees you are good to go. If your team or captains aren’t sure they may use tineye. The captains can also take it to the captains group (where the result is binding).

Ive messaged them again. Frayed Silk doesn't look blue at all so I totally understand that one, but the other two being more than 50% should be enough. We'll see. Thanks for further investigating Andreea

We are checking the spreadsheets for March and have a potential issue with yours. or a few color cards, the first two covers we don't see that they have enough blue in them, and the last cover don't seem green to us.

There were 2 blue 4s that werent 50%, one of them was basically purple lol

Andreea, I dont think Underestimated, too is blue enough to count. Its more grey to me.

Hey everyone! Hope everybody is doing okay.

Some of our cards for the colored cards for March didn't actually have enough of the color according to the mods, and I totally agree with them. I probably should have verified all of the covers lol, so thats my bad. But please be sure that at least half of the cover is the color that youre using the book for, not just a small part of it. Even though were not calculating the percentages anymore, the same rules still apply. Thanks!

I'll be updating spreads tonight so keep your eyes peeled for that. :)
