If you haven't thought about zombies in the back garden you obviously haven't watched W..."
Haha. I watch that one too. But I hide under the pillows when the zombies are around - I love watching the machinations and the twists and turns in the human population. Daryl.. sigh!
That's good about the chunksters. I've had this one to start from before Christmas.. and it starts with a V...

Totally - emotional!
The Bronte Sisters - it has always amazed me how these sheltered women wrote so passionately.
I cry at everything - movies, books, the news... The biggest sobfest I've had in the last couple of years was funnily enough in a YA book - Cassandra Clare's

Kathleen, I've heard that the beaches in the Philippines are really beautiful. My sister who lives in Singapore at the moment has visited quite a few times.

No pets, as we travel a lot between our farm and Sydney so not practical.
Weekends - Saturday morning coffee with husband and daughter is a ritual. Then play it by ear..
Favourite place - That's a hard one. I've been fortunate enough to travel a lot the past ten years... Being up the top of the Eiffel Tower at midnight as it sparkled was a highlight, as was swimming in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, flying in a helicopter over the Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii was terrifying.. in a good way.
Interesting Karen said St Petersburg. Loved the architecture... but I really didn't like the vibe of the city. One of the few places I've felt uncomfortable when travelling.
Want to go... Cheesy I know, but the Bran Castle in Romania! and the Bronte Parsonage in England has been on my travel bucket list for ages. I may get there this year.
Best Friend... I've had the same one since I was 12.. and we're 54 now. Done all the big things in life together, bridesmaids, godmother's to each other's children and now on the 0 and 5 big birthdays we go on a trip together. This year we're hoping to do Northern England/ Scotland. Previously we're done Thailand, Noosa and New York City!
Doing now.. eating lunch and playing on Goodreads.

I've just become a grandma for the third time which is exciting. I also read anything and everything especially in the romance genre but I also love historical fiction/non fiction and travel books, especially when I am going on holiday, half the fun is doing the research. We counted up over 50 Lonely Planet Books on our bookshelves over the holidays.
