88432 Oh, Sally.. me too! And that's pretty unusual to react to day surgery sedation. You poor thing, its horrible. I've only had full anaethesia twice and both times coming out of it was worse than the reason I had to have minor surgery in the first place. And I even told them the second time... So glad you're fine now.

It's so hot here, I woke up at 3 am couldn't sleep and read for an hour. Today my sister and cousin are visiting from out of town so we're going into the city for High Tea. Yum.

88432 I was supposed to wear glasses since I was about 18.. but didn't really wear them till I had to, age around 33. Now.. I wear bifocals, I'm one of the 5% of people who just can't wear mulitfocals but apart from going down stairs I have no trouble with the bifocals. And they are a lot better than in the past you can hardly detect the line.

88432 Good luck Sally! I always think the prep is THE WORST...

First Celebrity Crush - strangely it was the actor Robin Ellis who played Poldark in the original BBC TV series. It was the start of my love for brooding, misunderstood heroes. Now I'm showing my age, LOL. and Woody from The Bay City Rollers even more embarassing..

Combination of the two.

Mistaken for a famous person .. No, but I'm often mistaken for someone else. I must have that average middle age woman with glasses look.

Sitting on the lounge at home with morning coffee.. but have already done my walk and showing 9,113 steps on my fitbit so okay.

Phobias..not really although I'm not a fan of snakes. My husband killed a brown snake at the back of our farmhouse just last week.

88432 I've been reading this series ...https://www.goodreads.com/series/5979...- whose main characters are Violet Parker and Dane "Dr" Nyce. So a V and a N right there. I've only read the first 2 and the series is up to about 8 I think.

88432 Morning everyone. It's going to be another ridiculously hot week again in Sydney so we'll be needing our pools, Karen. I grumble all summer about how much maintenance and pool chemicals they need but the kids and grandkids have sure been enjoying it this year.

88432 Well, I was born in the 60's when Harriet was your grandma's name! Now its actually come back into vogue and there's a new generation so its not as old fashioned now. But I still prefer Lisa.

88432 Handwriting - Well, I print everything. I don't think I can even do cursive anymore.

Named after.. actually I am. Lisa is my middle name which I much prefer. My actual given name is Harriet, named after my Dad (Harry). Karen, growing up in the 70's I would have loved a boring name, LOL.

Bungee - Not in this life time. Although my dare devil husband has, several times. but when he was a lot younger.. and crazier!

Hideaway - we have a farm that overlooks mountains.. but I love beach holiays too.

Sport, when I was younger.. now I'm just a walker..

Tattoos, No.. I'm not into pain, LOL.

88432 No,I haven't Kathleen. I find sometimes reading those classics are a bit dated. Terrible, I know. Although I can read The Bronte Sisters over and over again for some reason.

Good to know about our common shelves, Nikk and Kathleen. Obviously romance readers as well!

88432 Hiya Dima!

.. the housework can wait until tomorrow. But that's half my problem because I kinda say that everyday, LOL.

I haven't had time to read like I would like already this year and since the grandkids have moved close by. But I am enjoying them like crazy because they are moving to our farm later on in the year.
