today. Can I start it today to count for mini challenge or do I need to wait until the 14th?"I think books that you finish after the mini challenge starts count so it should be fine.

Great lateral thinking, Mel.
Looking forward to seeing what imaginative connections we all come up with.

Thanks Karen and Suzanne for tackling our mini challenge book. Hope whoever reads it enjoys it.
That's so sad Amar. You've had a difficult month. Sorry for your loss.

There's a few connections here - Elizabeth George is an American writer writing mystery novels set in England.
Did I mention I love a mini challenge, LOLOL.

It's about USD$10 on kindle which is about AUD$13.00 so if anyone has a copy or can borrow it from the library that would be handy.

Yay... mini challenge.
My library doesn't have that particular book (others in the series unfortunately) and there's not enough time for me to order it from another library.
Can the connection be as simple as Both Book 1 in a mystery series or Both books written by an author with Elizabeth as a first name?

Finished Red 9 -
.
I usually love Philippa Gregory but it was so disappointing and tedious.
I'm going to read me some space smut now for a bit of lighter entertainment. 😘
Amar wrote: "I'm done with Sherwood!"I've got that book so I'm going to try and read it sometime over the challenge and we can use it for a reverse.
Glad things are looking up for you.

Great you finished Mel but boo it was a one star. Hope your next read is better.

No worries Amar. As the ladies said this is totally for fun, hope all is alright with your Mum and good luck with your exams.

Finished
. Seems the book search function is working again. Yay.
Kelly wrote: "Finished The Survivors by Jane Harper. It wasn’t quite as exciting as the blurb made out, but it was still a fairly solid mystery read."Not as good as The Dry or the The Lost Man, I agree. But as you said still a good mystery read.

Finished
. Added to shelf and sheet.
Sally906 wrote: "Um - my post for The Knight of Castle Kildare by Erin Moira O'Hara has been deleted from the spreadsheet - I’m not happy. As once I transcribe it onto the spreadshe..."Sally, I think the Captains move it to the official team spread sheet when they use it. So it disappears from the tracking sheet. So all good.

Is anyone else having a problem with the Search function and missing books? It's happened twice to me today.

Finished Yellow 8. The Hunting Party. On the shelf and sheet.
It was a page turner and I never guessed the ending.
Karen ⊰✿ wrote: "Oh I quite enjoyed Hunting Party, Lisa. And it is a lovely yellow!!"I'm madly trying to work out which one of them was murdered.. and whodunnit of course. I'd recommend it if we need another yellow in the next round.

Finished Blue 2 and on shelf and sheet.
4 stars.
I started my Yellow 8
and really liking it so far. I had no idea what it was about really ... but a lovely yellow cover so nice surprise.

Checking in with my first book read. It's on the shelf and the spreadsheet.
4 stars. I found it really interesting because my cousin is a really big Australian history fan. When we went on holidays to the UK in 2019 we actually went and saw the Mausoleum on the Isle of Mull where the Macquaries are.
