88432 worth using Dreamfever for one of those 7s in hand 6? Vs being tricky and we do have a lot of them to fill!

(esp as I am currently reading a book we could use for a reverse - with no V)

88432 PS, in all this fun, don't forget that I finished a book - The Doctor's Secret Bride - yesterday.

1/2/3/4/8/skip:
Hayes, Felicia, Erik, Precious characters
#1 series
The title

88432 I don't mind signing up to read an Agatha Christie (for whichever part we prefer - subject to whether it is book #1) and Cut & Run (again, for whichever part we want)

obviously I'll be able to read more too, but don't want to be a hog, or to bite off more than I can chew!

yay!!!!! (though less so for the foot of snow. In the middle of March? What madness is that? (she says, from her comfortable spot in normally-rainy but today beautifully sunny London)

Our team is Pixie, Tom, Mary, Anna, Joy

Pixie and Tom both read a book by Neil Gaiman

Pixie then reads another book by Neil Gaiman
The second book read by Pixie by Neil Gaiman can not count for the mini challenge ."

Ok, so I can't read 3 different Agatha Christie (say) to cover Part 1, Part 2 & Part 3. Just double-triple checking because it's linked to Part 1 only

88432 double checking: for Part 3, character names:

- if the book is a standalone, we can only read the team name character (e.g. only Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights, not Cathy/Catherine etc)?
- if the book is a series book then we can read the team name character AND any other character found throughout the series?
- what if the character only turns up in one book in the series? is that OK?

88432 this mini challenge has more questions than some main challenges I've been in!

88432 other question I has was about the use of an team author's psuedonyms (e.g. JD Robb is Nora Roberts; JK Rowling is Robert Galbraith)

what about books where the team author is a joint (Ilona Andrews) - can we read books by the individuals too? or, by contrast, what about books where the author is collaborating with another (Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett sprang to mind)

88432 I know it says, for part 1 that I can only read Agatha Christie once, but what about in Parts 2 & 3?
i.e. could I read three Agatha Christie's, using one for Part 1, one (Poirot #1) for Part 2 and one for Part 3? What if I find another name in a fourth Agatha Christie? (e.g. Hastings? from the Poirot series)
the name has to be proper name, but can it be a proper name referring to a place? (e.g Hastings town?)

Asking here, as I gather questions need to be funnelled through the captains group

88432 I've started Fire which I see Emma has read, so can be used for a reverse, or some other letters too :)

In other news: spreadsheet, tracker.... I've copied the March min template over, and added a tab with info on the team characters & books (though not other characters within books)
I don't mind reading an Hercule Poirot book.

88432 Finished the Doctors Secret Bride.
Levels of ugh? High.
Levels of believability? Low

But it's over!

Cards it fits are on the sheet. Most useful possibly Erik char. Or Felicia char?

88432 Re scrabble, the numbers seem off... Only 1 A? Or have I missed some nuance?

EDIT : reread the rules. First and last letters make up the tiles. Got it.

88432 I think we need a spreadsheet!

I'm out & about at the moment, back home in an hour & can try pulling info together then

88432 so, I need to read a book with Doctor as MC for a different challenge. soooo.... with trepidation, I'm going to be reading The Doctor's Secret Bride. Has a E character, which I think we still need...

After which I am sure I'll need something to cleanse my palate: I may have a prowl around other people's shelves to catch a reverse.

Yeah, I focussed on the colours, safe in the knowledge that you were all over the D2s!

I'm 60% through Dune for the yellow 4, and sadly nothing in it working for the yellow 9 - would yours work for 9 at all?
