88432 That’s the rule for part 2 so we could use your book for something green in part two but part one is still 50%.

88432 It was 43/110 here yesterday. Absolutely no winter. Hope everyone else is staying warm if you are still winter.

88432 Two to six elements from your books so across multiple books, but only one item per book. See the part of the rules for exact quote.

◈ Each book can only be used once for the mini challenge

You can use anywhere between two and six elements from your books to create a name for your cocktail along the lines of what the mods have done for the team names.

88432 Jill, any of those would work great

88432 For part 1, if someone takes a task, a different person can take the other task

88432 You get to be creative. It needs to be « character name’s cocktail name » in format but almost anything from a book can be used (see below). Each cocktail is made of two to six books and we should be able to use most everyone’s books here. The top half is harder and more specific. Only one element per book as usual.

These are the elements you can choose to use from your books - any combination of these works:
- book title
- series title
- author name
- item on cover
- cover colour (no matter how much of it is found on the cover as long as one can actually detect it with the naked eye)
- name from the story (any character or named creature, you could even use the cat's name if you like)
- setting of the story (can be the entire setting, can be the setting of a single scene, whatever works for your creation)

88432 Reminder that books must be finished after the mini challenge starts on March 15 at 9 am London time to count. Thank you

88432 Just some of the writing for these tasks

88432 The series I’m reading right now all have orange text on the cover so I can claim that one

88432 Jill, the official ruling on anthologies is to use the author listed on Goodreads as the "editor"

88432 I’m out of the country now for work but hope you had a lovely holiday

We are allowed to use nick names if that helps.

88432 Jill wrote: "Curious about character names. Does it have to be a main character or any character in the book with that initial?"

The character does not have to be the main character but needs to be "on screen" (present and not just referred to) and have a speaking role, so no pets generally.

88432 Great job, everyone. Everything is done for February, and I have locked the planning sheets.

Sounds great. That was me. I wanted to check as my version is pink. I’ll unhighlight it.

Edited: I also looked on my computer so it may be an issue on my ereader

Thank you, I switched the quote for mint, if you don't mind, as that clearly works as a herb in a drink and does not run into the no controlled substances issue, which was brought up in the captains group and not something you would have known about.

88432 Jill wrote: "Another question can a mixed drink like a mimosa or old fashioned be used for "mixers"?"

It needs to be non-alcoholic. Coke, soda, lemonade, tonic water, bubbly water all count and were the examples given.
