End of Feb Update

We have read all color cards and all tasks for the mini are claimed with 3 still pending

We still have 12 cards for this month, including the 3 above. We still need books to finish up Feb, so keep reading

There are three unclaimed tasks if anyone wants to look for or has a book that works:

3. Read a book with an elderly character.

For the shelf ones, series substitutions count so if anyone likes Ilona Andrews, almost all of their books are on the Bad Ass Heroine shelf and All Systems Red (Murderbot) and Ancillary Justice are on the AI shelf

Hi all, I set up the six characters on the planning sheet, and it is open for everyone to claim tasks. I also added a column to put other options the book might work for if we need to move books around.

Books can be started since the start of UNO but cannot be finished until just under 20 hours from now.

I would vote against Jabba as I think some of those are very specific.

I would vote for Sarlacc, Luke, and Emperor Palpatine for starters.

Maybe Grand Moff Tarkin for the last one? Still thinking on this one.

I would not call it green but I tend to label a lot more as blue so we can wait on Judith for a second opinion.

What are the team's thoughts on using Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries for MC teaches? No teaching occurs in the book, but the MC is a professor. Then, I can switch places with Teddie's book for university. Otherwise, I can go find one easily but wanted to ask.

Hi all, My name is Lexi (she/her/hers) and I am the co-captain. I live in Atlanta, Georgia (EST), and work in public health and parasites. I especially enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi, and am trying to read authors from a wider range of countries. I have played and captained/co-captained UNO before.

My Christmas one also has a charecter named Christopher if you would prefer that task and my book can be moved.

The other task left is South Africa.

I just got a book with a Christmas scene in on the cover from the library, so I can get to that one this weekend. I requested it before Christmas but so apparently did everyone else.
