I finished my blue skip last night, but it looks like maybe we don't need that..."

Denise, you have been a great help and that is my fault on the Blue Skip. I forgot you signed up for that one. You still have read 2 color cards and there are many options for the mini. I will post some ideas that have been shared in the captain's group tomorrow that might help.

88432 Sadly, I agree that both are not a single color

88432 Also, if anyone really hates spiders, please tell me and I'll remove the pictures from the spreadsheet. I just wanted you all to be able to see what the animals looked like.

88432 March Mini
◈ Each book read can only be used for one task.
◈ Books can be started at any point since the start of the UNO challenge (Feb 1)
◈ Books need to be finished after the start of this mini challenge on March 15, 9am UTC. Countdown is here: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...

Full info is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I'll get the planning sheet up next, but here's the "set" tasks we need to do:

🐇Alaskan Hare
Cover Colours: Brown, White, Black, Grey-Brown
Location: Alaska

🐰Arctic Hare
Cover Colours: Brown, Grey, White
Location: Canada

🦎Chameleons
Cover Colours: Pink, Blue, Orange, Turquoise
Location: Africa

🦎Anoles
Cover Colours: Bright Green, Brown
Location: the Americas

🐸Peron's Tree Frog
Cover Colours: Emerald Green, Grey, Brown, White, Yellow, Black
Location: Australia

🐙Cephalopods
Cover: Patterned Cover
Location: at Sea or on Water

🏵️Flower Spiders
Cover Colours: Yellow, White, Green, Brown, Grey
Location: Australia, New Zealand

🐢Golden Tortoise Beetle
Cover Colours: Gold, Reddish-Brown
Location: the Americas

🕷️Chrysso Spiders
Cover Colours: Black, Yellow
Location: Europe, North America, Asia, Brazil, Peru

For each of the animals we can repeat one of those "set" tasks, but don't have to - we need to use our creativity to read three more books for each of the animals based on the text for each animal via the link.

Also, if you use "in text" or "on cover," it must be the species of animal detailed - "golden tortoise beetle" for instance, not simply "beetle".

Feel free to ask any questions

88432 I had no power this afternoon, so I got to read for 4 hours straight. It is amazing how much work requires electricity.
